the superstructure with circular and square fenestration enclosing shelves, twin panelled doors below, brass pulls, hand written note on reverse "Miss Kate Greeenaway designed this cabinet for us....1886"

The Cabinet was a special commission for Frederick Locker Lampson a close friend of Greenaway's. Purchased Sotheby's Bond Street , June 1970.
