The later white enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute ring and later beetle and poker hands, the verge and fusee movment with pierced foliate balance cock, signed Josh. Barber, no.49, the outer case of repoussé decoration depicting seated female and standing helmeted figure, possibly representing Mars and Venus, hallmarked London, 1748, suspended from a gold chatelaine with raised decoration depicting figures in scroll vignettes with gilt clip fitting, circa 1770, case diameter - 50.0mm
