Curry, founder of the Curry Foundation, which supported a number of religious, educational and charitable programs, as diverse as agricultural reform in developing countries to supporting research in astrophysics and astronomy. Mr. Curry, passionate in every aspect of life, aggressively pursued his passion for the arts by carefully assembling an exceptional collection of American and Modern Art. The collection also includes paintings and sculpture by artists such as Alexander Calder, August Rodin, Raoul Dufy, Louis Valtat and Aristide Maillol, that will be offered in Christie's prestigious sales of Post-War and Contemporary Art and Impressionist and Modern Art this fall.
