signed and numbered 'A. Rodin 7/8' (on the right side of the neck) and inscribed with foundry mark '.Georges Rudier. .Fondeur.Paris.' (on the back of the neck) and inscribed and dated '.c by musée Rodin.1982.' (on the bottom of the base); with raised signature 'A. Rodin' (on the inside)

Height: 11 5/8 in. (29.6 cm.)
Conceived in 1895; this bronze version cast in 1982-1983
