Each octagonal with two drop-ring handles, the domed cover with part ivory finial, with conforming detachable liners, each engraved with a coat-of-arms, each marked on base, liner, cover and handles
9¾ in. (25 cm.) diameter

The arms are those of Pearson with a label for difference impaling Spencer quartering Churchill for Weetman Harold Miller Pearson, (1882-1933), later 2nd Viscount Cowdray and his wife Agnes Beryl (d.1948), younger daughter of Lord Edward Spencer Churchill whom he married in 1905. (2)
