The arched cornice above a pair of glazed doors enclosing a satinwood lined interior with two adjustable shelves above four short drawers, the secretaire fallfront with inset leather writing surface and three further drawers above a cupboard with a further shelf on a shaped plinth base, decorated throughout to simulate boulle-work, the locks stamped 'FICHET A PARIS' and numbered '22111, 22113 & 22114', one lock replaced, the secretaire pivot-angle brackets stamped 'Baumann Brevette SGDG', the reverse with two paper labels for 'Maple's Depository' inscribed 'Arnold'
