William James Muller (1812-1845)

The Apothecaries' Garden was founded in 1673 by the Society of Apothecaries of London. This garden gave their apprentices the opportunity to learn to grow medicinal plants and study their uses. Today, the garden is known as Chelsea Physic Garden.
