Harold Riley (b. 1934)

'The Ritz was one of a number of cinemas that combined so called "assembly rooms" with films. It stood on Liverpool Street in Salford near to Hanky Park, and existed with various names until it was demolished in the 1960s.' (Private correspondence with Harold Riley, 2011).
