Conceived circa 1890-1891; this version cast by Alexis Rudier in 1907

Sir Patrick Ford, Edinburgh, by whom acquired directly from the artist in November 1908, and thence by descent; sale, Sotheby's, London, 4 December 1985, lot 117.
