With a single side handle, the body cast with a relief band of classical vases flanked by pairs of dolphins above the inscription '3V . DEM . HANS . PRVN . KERICH .' and with a Venetian lion motif in a roundel
7½ in. (9 cm.) high

Specialist note

The inscription indicates a German origin but the mark of a Venetian lion might indicate a Venetian foundry with a commission for a German owner as opposed to maker.
