Designed as a pair of twin girandole pendants of foliate motif, each mounted with old-cut diamonds and suspending three pear-shaped drops, to the knife-edged bar connections accented by diamond collets with diamond-set surmount of similar motif, the necklace comprised of five box-link chains interspersed with rose-cut diamond bar spacers to the sapphire and diamond-set navette-shaped clasp, mounted in silver and gold, converted from a pair of early 19th century ear pendants, circa 1820, pendant fittings, neckchain and clasp of later date, pendants 6.4 and 8.2cm long, necklace 37.0cm long
