Nickel-finished fully jewelled two train lever movement separately wound by turning the crown to either side, bimetallic compensation balance, grande sonnerie au passage, hour, quarter hours and minutes striking and carillon repeating on three hammers onto two gongs, white enamel dial, Roman numerals, outer minute track, sub seconds, 18k gold heavy circular case with silent/strike lever in the bezel, hinged gold cuvette, back cover with red enameled decoration, repeating button in the band, case signed and numbered

The carillon repeating mechanism is more complicated than the normal minute repeater and is usually found in clock watches. It features three or four gongs instead of only two. The quarter hours of the present watch strike on three hammers onto three gongs and chime three tunes.
