PRESENTATION COPY SIGNED TWICE BY CHURCHILL, once on verso of frontispiece, and also on half-title (here bound after preface). This single-volume edition was 'reduced by the omission of some personal impressions and revised considerably. A new chapter has been added describing the ultimate destruction of the Khalifa and the end of the war'. Woods A2(b).
