A Furosaki Byobu [Tea Screen]

Furosaki byobu are low, two-leaf folding screens used as partitions in a tea-ceremony rooms [chashitsu]. They were originally used as a windbreak for the portable brazier, but also acquired an important decorative function, and served to divide the space within the room.
