The easily recognizable reference 1526 and its distinctive "Calatrava" design is doubtlessly one of the most popular collector watches in today's vintage watch market. Launched in 1941, only 210 were ever made according to literature, the majority of this exceedingly small series with yellow gold cases. However a small portion of the production was cased in pink gold.

The exclusivity of the present reference 1526, in addition to its distinguished provenance, lies in the fact that it has never been offered in public before.

Reference 1526
Manufacture of reference 1526, highly appreciated by collectors and immediately recognisable by its Calatrava-style case, was launched in 1941. According to literature, only 210 examples were made, cased either in yellow or pink gold. Only one example in steel, now at Patek Philippe's prestigious watch museum in Geneva, is known to have been made.
