Circular, the center painted with a rose after Redouté and titled 'Rosier Spinule de dematra', the border with gilt stylized foliate wreath, the reverse with gilt inscription 'Archangelski 1827 Tome 3. p 2', marked under base with incised potter's mark
9 in. (22.9 cm.) diameter

Purchased in Leningrad in July 1932 by Mrs. James T. Harahan, Chicago.
By descent through the family to the present owner.
