Ismail Fattah (Iraqi, 1934-2004)

This is a very fine example from the much loved 'Rooster' series, a subject frequently painted by Fattah. The uniqueness of this particular lot is that it is the very last painting of the Rooster to be completed by the artist, before he passed away at the age of seventy.
