With gadroon border and pedestal foot, both sides engraved with coat-of-arms and motto scroll, the cover with reeded foliate handle and engraved with the Montgomery crest and coat-of-arms, apparently made to match the preceding lot

Almost certainly supplied to Sir James Montgomery 2nd Bt. (1766-1839), and by descent at Stobo and Kinross.
