DIAL: silvered crenellated chapter ring signed 'G. Rossi Norwich', blued steel hands MOVEMENT: pierced scrolling plates joined by six double-screwed pillars, twin chain fusees, train wheels with six crossings, anchor escapement, rack strike/trip repeat on bell; pendulum, winding key, replaced velvet-covered and ebonised plinth and glass dome
17½ in. (44.5 cm.) high, excluding dome; 14 in. (35.5 cm.) wide; 8 in. (20.5 cm.) deep

George Rossi is recorded 1823-1864. Roberts attributes this design to James Edwards of Stourbridge, who made most of his skeleton clocks 1830-1855.
