Each with padded back, arms and seat upholstered in duchesse satin applied with 18th century polychrome silk and silver-thread embroidery depicting flowers, dragons, birds and insects, the channelled waved frames carved with flowerheads, on cabriole legs, traces of earlier yellow, green and black decoration, the embroidery re-applied
