A 5 page, typewritten treatment for the iconic 1969 film Easy Rider. Entitled THE FILM it begins, "Easy Rider" is structured as both odyssey and ballad. It chronicles the cross-country journey of two young men who would currently be labeled "hippies." Their search for "freedom" results in a number of encounters with the people of America, each encounter (stanza) being joined to the next by a reprise of lyrical motorcycle riding.
