With J. Leger & Son, London, from whom bought by Sir Sydney Barratt, 31 August 1956 (as Bernardo Bellotto) for Summerhill, Staffordshire and later installed at Crowe Hall, Bath, 1961 and by descent.
Please note that an attribution to Bernardo Canal (Venice 1674-1744) has been suggested.
