Designed as an octagonal citrine dial, with enclosed rose-cut diamond hands and exterior rose-cut trim, the gold and blue enamel chapter ring with gold Roman numerals and dots in reserve, within a sculpted ebonite and gold frame, decorated at the corners with rose-cut diamond florets and a blue, black and white enamel motif at 6 o'clock, to the ebonite and gold base, enhanced by black enamel detail and a rose-cut diamond floret, mounted in 18k gold and platinum, circa 1920, 5 x 3 x 1¾ ins., with French assay mark and maker's mark, accompanied by a winding key
