By the Imperial Porcelain Factory, St Petersburg, 1840-1850
Ovoid, with all over gilt stencilwork on royal blue ground, the front and reverse centred with foliate lined medallions containing bouquets flanked with etched blue stylised flower sprays, within blue band borders, inscribed under base 'No. 7559. 29070.'

Specialist note
