Specialist note

I think the white background means many things to me. I hate to use big words - but if I have a feeling about life, it is an existential feeling. I think we live in a kind of a void; that there is nothing before and there is nothing after. And the white for me represents that void. It makes people symbolic of themselves. You see only what's written on their faces.
