Specialist note

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with silvered dial and raised gold hour markers in 1945 and its subsequent sale on 20 August 1945. The Extract further states that the 20 diamonds on this watch have a total weight of 0.83 carat.

Consigned by a private collector, the present watch has never been offered at auction before. It is furthermore believed to be only the second example of a reference 1292/1 in pink gold to appear in public to date.

Reference 1292 was in production from 1943 until the mid 1950s and made in different case versions.
