Each curved tablet crestrail carved with lotus leaves above an oak leaf and acorn-carved horizontal splat, the padded arms with sculpted lion terminals raised on foliate and rosette scrolls continuing to scrolled toes and flanking a close-nailed leather seat, the seat frames with contemporary pencil inscription H BARTLETT UPHOLSTERER and one with chiseled T.E, 7170 in yellow chalk to underside of rail, X888 in black chalk to one (2)
