APPARENTLY UNMARKED, 19TH CENTURY
With foliage and shell openwork sides, on scroll feet, with beaded handle, the cut-glass bottles with similar mounts, front of stand engraved with the Spencer crest within the garter motto below an earl's coronet
9 1/8 in. (23.4 cm.) high
The initial is probably that of either Frederick, 4th Earl Spencer (1798-1857) or his son John Poyntz, 5th Earl Spencer (1835-1910).
