Rectangular box, the diamond-pattern cover centred with rectangular polished gold plaque engraved with initial S surmounted by an earl's coronet, concave base, gold thumbpiece and hinge; together with, a rectangular silver-gilt box, horizontally reeded cover, base and sides, the interior cover engraved with initials AB surmounted by an earl's coronet, slighly raised incoporated thumbpiece
2¾ in. (69 mm.) and 2 5/8 in. (67 mm.) wide, respectively
A trade label inside the silver-gilt box reads 'Thomas Lumley Ltd. 3 Bury St. S.W.1.'. (2)
