The arms are those of Campbell of Blythswood, co. Renfrew, possibly for Archibald Campbell of Blythswood (d.1868). He was born Archibald Douglas but assumed the name and arms of Campbell in 1838 having inheriting the Blythswood estate following the death of his cousin. His son was created Baron Blythswood in 1892.
