Specialist note

In this work, Tazeen has used an image of a US visa form on wasli with a stylised painting of a "flit pump" an insecticide dispenser used commonly in the Sub-continent. The artist plays with the notion of the alluring qualities of the United States to aspiring immigrants and conversely the repellence that is fostered through politics and prejudice.
