Specialist note
With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with 18k white gold bracelet in 1973 and its subsequent sale on October 4th, 1973. Further accompanied by the original black leather Patek Philippe presentation box and outer cardboard packaging.
To the best of our knowledge, this watch has never before been offered in public. The present watch is one of only two known to the market with the integral textured white gold bracelet.
Patek Philippe produced the reference 3448 from 1962 until approximately 1982. When first introduced to the market the reference 3448 was the only self-winding perpetual calendar wristwatch manufactured by any firm. It remained so for approximately the next two decades.
Reference 3448 is illustrated in Patek Philippe Wristwatches by O. Patrizzi, vol. II, plate 915, p. 221.
