FIRST EDITION. IN THE ORIGINAL PRINTED WRAPPERS. A rare early play by one of the great Russian dramatists of the mid-19th century, no less controversial than his first play, Bankrupt, which too was banned from production. Not in Kilgour or Smirnov-Sokol'skii. COPAC locates no copy in the UK.
