An autograph picture postcard (unsigned) and two autograph correspondence cards signed ('Thomas Hardy', 'T.H.') to various recipients, Dorchester and Southwold, 10 May 1892 - 7 June 1924, in the earliest apologising to Lady Metcalfe for not writing earlier about her invitation, writing from Southwold in 1913 to 'Miss K. Hardy' [his sister Kate] to inform her of his arrival, and in 1924 sending a brief line of thanks to Mr and Mrs Leonard Rees, together 3 pages, oblong 8vo, the picture postcard depicting the harbour and fish market in Southwold.
