Oval box, the cover and base engraved with panels of concentric engine-turning scattered with pellets and stars, the sides with similar guilloché horizontal reeding, within matted borders engraved with trailing foliage in two-colour gold, the cover centred with an oval medallion depicting two facing foliate c-scrolls and foliage chased in two-colour gold on a frosted ground, within a laurel and berry border, the side pilasters chased with ornate vases
