FRENCH, CIRCA 1764
Circular blonde tortoiseshell-lined bonbonnière, the independent cover depicting a harbour view with barrel inscribed '1764' and sunset sky in the manner of Claude-Joseph Vernet, the sides and base similarly lacquered with harbour views, reeded gold mounts
3 1/8 in. (81 mm.) diam.
