Marked Fabergé, with the workmaster's mark of Michael Perchin, St Petersburg, 1899-1903, with scratched inventory number 5880(?)
Oblong, the ends each with a hinged cover enamelled with white stripes divided by beaded gold bands and with a vacant oblong cartouche, with a foliate border, one end set with a sapphire thumb-piece, the other with a ruby thumb-piece, marked inside covers
2 in. (5.2 cm.) long
