Lot 226 Au sortir de la guerre, Jacques Quinet se voit confier plusieurs commandes publiques pour l'aménagement de certaines administrations françaises, en 1948 pour le Commissariat à l'Energie Atomique et en 1949, pour les bureaux de l'Organisation Européenne de Coopération Economique. C'est dans ce contexte que la Chambre de Commerce de La Rochelle fait appel à lui, en 1957, pour la commande d'une table de conférence, d'un luminaire et du mobilier présenté ici (lots 226 à 228).
In the aftermath of the war, Jacques Quinet received several important public commissions to furnish certain French administrations: the Commissariat à l'Energie Atomique in 1948 and the Organisation Européenne de Coopération Economique in 1949. In 1957, Quinet was commissioned by the Chamber of Commerce of La Rochelle to design a conference table, a ceiling light and the present furniture pieces (Lots 226 to 228).
