A JADEITE CARVING
Depicting an old man carrying a steelyard, with well-carved jadeite head and hands of very light green colour and very good translucency, to the multi-coloured jadeite steelyard, counterweight and ingots, enhanced by jadeite adornments on the hat, suspending a row of jadeite ingots and gourd from the waist, representing the rebus 'may your wish come true', to the finely-carved wooden body with inlaid gold pattern, carving approximately 47.0 cm high
Accompanied by report no. KJ47938 dated 3 March 2010 from the Hong Kong Jade & Stone Laboratory stating that the rod is natural jadeite and no polymer is detected
