The Spitfire Saint Exupéry edition was made in a limited series of 250 examples in pink gold in 2006. It is dedicated to the celebrated pilot and poet Antoine de Saint Exupéry to mark the 75th anniversary of his novel "Vol de Nuit" or "Night Flight", first published in 1931.
This special edition is a professional pilot's watch distinguished by its tobacco-coloured dial with the small silver-plated subsidiary dials. The 12 hour register contains the initial "A" from Antoine de Saint Exupéry's signature. The back of the case features an engraved portrait of the pilot in his flying suit. The tobacco-coloured leather strap is reminiscent of the bracelets used at Saint Exupéry's epoch. Each watch is sold with a copy of "Night Flight", containing hitherto unpublished illustrative material.
Saint Exupéry is also the author of the famous novel "Le Petit Prince" or "The Little Prince".
