Three quarter plate gilt-finished jewelled movement wound through the pendant or with a key, engraved balance cock and foot, Earnshaw spring detent escapement, large bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel helical spring with diamond endstone, free sprung regulator, gold cuvette, off-white enamel dial, Roman numerals, two sunk subsidiary dials for 30 hours power reserve and constant seconds, plain circular case, case numbered, case and cuvette and stamped with casemaker's initials FT for Fred Thomas, movement numbered
52 mm. diam.

The case of the present watch is stamped FT for Fred Thoms, renowned for his exceptional cases which he supplied to the best English watchmakers for their most prestigious timepieces.

The off-white enamel dial is in the typical manner of Frederick Willis, who was renowned for his high quality dials often found in combination with a Thoms case.
