Antonio Cavallucci (Sermoneta 1752-1795 Rome)

The painting is sold with a copy of a letter by Professor Giancarlo Sestieri, dated 27 April 2005, proposing the attribution to Antonio Cavallucci. Professor Sestieri considers the picture a typical and representative work by the painter and describes it as an 'omaggio a Raffaello, rivisitato attraverso gli insegnamenti del Mengs e del Batoni'.
