Reputedly exhibited at the 1900 Paris Exposition Universelle, an example of this jardinière is illustrated in P. Dahhan, Etains 1900, 200 sculptures de la Belle Epoque, Paris, 2000, p. 22. The same illustrated model was sold at Christie's, Paris, Miroir d'une Passion, 16 December 2009, lot 313 (10,000 Euros).
