Banded, chequerbanded and crossbanded overall and inlaid with urn medallions, the carved top above three drawers, inlaid sans travers on square tapering feet
80 cm. high x 110 cm. wide x 56 cm. deep

Specialist note

This commode is closely related to the production of Christoph Hopfengärtner (1758-1843), established in Bern and related to one of the five Funk brothers, of the famous 18th century dynasty of cabinet-makers.
