A FINE NEAR-SET OF EIGHTEEN VICTORIAN COPPER SAUCEPANS
LATE 19TH CENTURY
The graduated pans and lids all numbered and engraved with a linked 'C.C.' monogram, nine with Jones brothers impressed makers marks, one a Maples retailers mark and eight unmarked
largest 12¼ in. (31 cm.) diameter; 7½ in. (19 cm.) high (18)

Specialist note

The engraved 'C.C.' monogram probably relates to the Compton Cavendish Family. Similar linked monograms are found on the lamp posts in Cavendish square, London. Charles Compton William Cavendish, 3rd Baron Chesham would fit with the dating of the copper.
