The rectangular top with three quarter moulded edge, lined to one side with a gilt-tooled black leather writing surface, and a green baize playing surface to the reverse, enclosing an ivory, ebony, ebonised and green-stained horn backgammon board, the frieze fitted with two short drawers, on square tapering legs with brass caps and castors, with fifteen ebony and fifteen later ivory counters
