The holder with down-swept sides decorated with trailing vines and leaves in red, green, white and three shades of blue, on a stippled ground, the underside of the base engraved with presentation inscription, complete with etched glass liner and matching lemon tea spoon, the back of the spoon engraved with initials A.S.H. and the date 1903
