The baluster sides profusely chased with a courting couple to one side and a shepherd playing a flute accompanied by his flock, all within a surround of flowers and scrolls and incorporating two cartouches one crested, the other engraved with coat-of-arms, with raffia-bound handle, cover with artichoke finial, engraved underneath base with scratch-weight 29-0
