the first including sword belt, sword, bicorne, shoe buckles belonging to Lord Justice Thesinger, the second including shoes, stockings, two extra waistcoats, sword and bicorne belonging to Percy Thesinger; and a further velvet coat and breeches with cut steel buttons, labelled Lord Justice Thesinger.
both uniforms in individual japanned uniform trunks with name plaques (2)

The Hon. Percy Mansfield Thesiger was born on 7 November 1869. He died on 3 August 1959 at age 89 having fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches. He was invested as a Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1918.1
