Circular, the centre painted with two mounted officers, and signed 'Freund', within a gilt border, the rim with ciselé military motifs on a gilt ground, apparently unmarked
9 3/8 (23.8 cm.) diameter

Specialist note

The present plate was likely painted by the artist Freund, who was working at Sèvres in 1822.
